Every wild animal in captivity - lions- pythons- monitors- etc. has been tamed to some degree where they generally will not bite- even though they are wild animals and are unpredictable- except for crocodillians. Atleast- that I ve seen on T.V.. Never seen a semi tame/placid gator/croc/caiman. Am I mistaken.. Can they be conditioned to being "handled" to the point where they will not bite- or is there another kind of animal that is as aggressive/territorial no matter how much conditioning/time in captivitiy?

I m getting a male Ball Python this summer- and I need him to have the most badass name ever. Any suggestions?
Adolf Hissler is hilarious.

I got him on Halloween when he was just a baby- he was about 10 inches long- and about as wide as a pencil. So I ve had him for about seven months now and he hasn t grown that much. I had a full grown one about six years ago and he was about three and a half feet long. This one is probably about a foot and a half and still not that wide. I thought he would be much bigger right now. Not that it matters a whole bunch- I was just wondering how much bigger will he get?

My other pets:
Ball Python
African Emperor Scorpion
Shih-Tzu
White Mice
random fish

This probably seems like a pretty dumb question to many of you. It ll give you a chance to show off your smarts!

I recently got a ball python of unknown age (about 2 ft) and I was wondering if he will learn to recognize me. He obviously knows the difference between me and something that wants to eat him- since he lets me grab him. I m just curious as to what extent snakes feel emotions. Any insight to this would be appreciated!
