my ball python was bitten by a rat a week ago… she looks ok… I cleaned the wound with peroxide and put neosporin on the wound… but i am concerned…the wound looks brown inside and has discolored her skin… is this normal? is it infected? what should I do???

I have a corn snake and a garter snake. I am a great owner that isn t a question. My mom is not afraid. The only thing is I already have the two other snakes. I am looking for tips to convince her to let me get the ball python as a third snake. She is hard to convince but this is the last thing. Please help. I have a few well acctully alot of questions about snakes I know I will nto be able to get one becouse of my parents but I still like to know about them!!!I would like to know whitch one is the best to have as a pet-Witch is the smallest kind-What type of stuff do they need to have-are they good pets-what do they eat besides mice and rats-what do small snakes eat?-where can I get one-who do I know if it is young or old- well that is all for now I will make sure to ask more later x]

My older Brother had a snake a Ball Python I held it but later it got aggresive and started to try and bite us.

my b/f has a baby ball python.
she s about 6 months old.
i know she should be fed once a week at the most.
but he thinks she should be eating 3 medium sized mice once a week... i have a feeling that may be too much but what the hell do i know?
thoughts?
i think 2 mice every other week or 1 every week is much more appropriate.

i kept telling him i thought it was too much but he said thats how much the ppl at the store where he got her from were feeding her so that s what he was gunna do.

i just want the snake to stay healthy ya know?
