i purchase a ball python around march 2008 it was hatched 2007 but dont know exact date and my ball pythons is around 1 ft and 19 inches could be few months old or a year old?

I have read alot about ball pythons! I have a friend that use to raise them but wasnt on today to answer those few question i think yall alot for helpen me!! I know to set the tank up before getten it!! I know to put it in a different place when i feed but wont that make it regurgatate when i go to put it back in its tank??! Ummm should i start out with like a 15 to 18 ? My boyfriend said i should!! And im starting it out in a 20 long tank or might get a 30 who knows i have the 20 already is that ok? How long can i hold it for iv been told until it starts getten cool! When i go to pick it up do i let it come to me? Boyfriend says when i want to pick it up pick it up behind its head that true? Boyfriends mom had a pet store when he was younger so he knows alot just like to be sure and here from other people who has rasied or had them for years!!!

I currently own two pet snakes. One is a fully grown ball python that I got about a year and a half ago- when he was already about a year old. So he is now about two and a half or three years old. The other one is a speckled kingsnake- which I got this last Halloween. He was just a baby- probably about two or three months old when I got him. He is now about nine or ten months old I d guess.

They are both doing very well- eating regularly- and love to be handled. My question is- how long do both of these snakes live on average? I love them with all my heart and it would really hurt if one of them died soon.

My Biology teacher has one- and she said she got it at a Reptile Show for $35-$40... A hatchling...
Yet all the sites say over $1k.

I really want a Piebald Ball Python hatchlin . So I asked her how much she figured- and she said around $65. Yet the sites say $2.5k.

I m confused. And I want that friggin snake.
Ok- so- $30 - 150... Goodgood... That for the regular patterned ones?

How about Piebald?
Or Cinnamon Pastels?
