If i live 1 hour and 54 say 2 hours from Columbia SC where i will be getten my Ball Python is that a bad idea? I mean we will get it and go straight home and bring water for it and everything! I know that will stress it out but is it a bad idea?
I have already read up on them but thanks for you detailed message!! I was just wondering if it was a good idea to travel that far when i get one! Thanks So much!

The breeder gave me a couple small mice (I m not sure exactly what kind) and said that my ball python had been eating those and they were good but I fed him one and Stanley inhaled it down and there really wasn t even a bump in his tummy.

I have two little mice left so next time I feed him (Sunday) I am going to try to give him both of them and if he eats them both I was going to bump up to the next size mouse. Does this seem okay?

He is a year old and just about 2 feet long- what size mouse would this size ball python normally be eating? Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know of some good sites that sell fish supplies? I need a 50ft siphon- preferably a python or aqueon- but I m only seeing these siphons for about 45+ dollars. Someone had told me of a site that sells them for about 25- but I can t recall the name. Hopefully someone here knows? :)
The tank is in a basement- that s my problem. Are DIY siphons that you suck on going to work all the way up a flight of stairs?

We have a 10 yr old- 41 inch ball python we adopted from my son s teacher. He ate in January- February- and March but didn t want to eat in April or early May. We have fed him medium rats. How will we know if he is hungry? We kept the rat and now my daughter has grown attached to her and she is too big to feed now. we will have to purchase another. should I go with a small rat this time and see what happens? his temperature is around 80 - having hard time getting it up. humidity is around 45-50%. HELP!!!!

I thought Boas were semi- arboreal snakes...... I have a young boa- his name is Bruno. and this kid is forever under the water bowl or buried under the substrate w/ his head peeped out.... he buries himself more than my ball python. ne way- i need some answers. thanx
