This probably seems like a pretty dumb question to many of you. It ll give you a chance to show off your smarts!

I recently got a ball python of unknown age (about 2 ft) and I was wondering if he will learn to recognize me. He obviously knows the difference between me and something that wants to eat him- since he lets me grab him. I m just curious as to what extent snakes feel emotions. Any insight to this would be appreciated!

I have 2 Ball Pythons and one has wrinkles on his eye and don t know how to fix that! He just ate right now and I put him back in the terrarium and the other python attacked him. What should I do? Are they going to be like this often? The temp. is good and so is the humidity. They are about the same size one is just a little bigger.

How do you make a ball python "Het" for something else.

Basically how do people say "100 % het" but then some say "Possible Het". I guess I should find a site that give all the details but I have yet to find it. So If I bred a pastel male to a normal female.. and I got normal looking babies.. would they all be het for pastel?

I just bought today- and I didn t realize that the damn thing would be 10-25 feet long. Can I return 2maro- the next day? I don t want a money return.. I would be happy to trade it for a different snake of a lesser value. Or how am I supposed to keep this damn thing?
Acctually- my Ball Python died yesterday. I am hoping the would let me trade it for the Banana Python. I spent $165 for it- it s an albino. And the other snake is $80- about. And they can keep the rest of the money and resell to someone else- I just don t want a huge ass snake that I will have to feed chickens or rabbits to like twice a month.
My ball python died due to diesed mouse from pet store. And lol- I called pet store and they will do exchange. I am new to snakes- I started with a Rose Hair tarantula and now I have Mexican red knee- goliath bird eater- indian blue- and several emperor scorpions and forest scorpions. The Burmese python is my second snake. I am either getting another ball python or the banana- and the banana isn t an albino Burmese. It s just a different common name for a albino king. LIke cougar- puma- mountain lion are all different common names. Anyways- I answered my own question with a phone call lol sorry .

my ball python was bitten by a rat a week ago… she looks ok… I cleaned the wound with peroxide and put neosporin on the wound… but i am concerned…the wound looks brown inside and has discolored her skin… is this normal? is it infected? what should I do???
