Ball pythons- specifically. I think that would be really fun!
Maybe there s an online 4H?
Just wondering!

Help my adult ball python will not eat it s been 6months now I don t know what to do I have tried everything but force feed him and not sure how to help please. He has nver done this before.

I m looking into owning one if they don t cost that much.

About my snake: I have a female ball python that s about 2 1/2 years old and roughly 3ft. I got her about 3-4 months ago. She s in a 50 gallon tank- the temps and humidity is about right- and she has a hide box- bathtub- and stick structure.

I ll be on vacation for 5 weeks and I m bringing my ball python over to my friend s house. The problem is- she won t eat frozen rats- so I always have to feed her live.
What would be the best approach to tell my friend? Should she keep buying live rats every week?

My problem: She s not eating frozen rats. I ve been thawing them and leaving them in her tank at night- but she won t eat them! She s eaten live about once a month since I got her- and I know that s not enough.
I know I won t starve her- but I really don t want her to be hungry! I ve been trying frozen about every week- not every day- but she just isn t eating! I always give up and feed her live.
For how long should I try to feed her pre-killed? How many times per week? When should I give in and feed her live? I just really want to get her off live- because its such a hassle!

Please give me all advice possible about getting her to eat frozen!

Thanks in advance!
She was not imported; she is definitely captive bred.

I got my baby ball python- (Polly)- only a few days ago- and I m just being precautious to make sure holding her after feeding doesn t upset anything. Thanks!
