ok i have a 5 month old diamond python & he was sitting around my neck (my hair was up) & he sort of made a hissing sound. it wasn t a warning because it wasn t long & slow it was more quick & sounded like a sneeze. i think he may have had hair up his nose or something. is this a normal or is there something wrong?? (apart from him having hair up his nose- thats not normal)

no stupid answers
thank you

im going to keep the pinkies in a tupperware container...how will they stay alive?
can i keep fuzzies in the tupperware?
and how should i keep them there?

Do ball pythons have to have a basking spot/light?
i thought that they only needed and under tank heater for the warm side..
is an under tank heater enough for a ball python?
and if they need a basking spot..what temps should it be..
getting my first BP in less than a week!! im so excited!!

It may be a couple of years (after I m out of my parent s house lol) but sooner or later i want to have a pet reptile. I m just not sure what kind to get. I ve had turtles before that i caught- but otherwise no prior experience. I have a common snapper right now but I ll be letting him go in a day or so. I like turtles but lately I ve been looking at ball pythons. I ve never held a snake and it might take some courage to have one. But from what I ve heard they re pretty docile. I also think uromastyx lizards look pretty cool. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks
the snapping turtle I mentioned I caught at work. So he s wild...not a pet.
