I live in South Carolina! And i have heard so meany oppions on all those ?s i have asked and havent made up my mind what to do! I kinda made my mind up that i am going to just use a UTH! So i guess my main ? is about the different cage feedings i have three extra tanks that i could use for a different place to feed so i guess i can do that! Just dont want to stress my baby out when i transfer him back to his home! Also still undecided on the mouse being alive frozen or i dont mind killing it!
Im getting a baby ball python. I have the tank setup. It is a 10-20 gallon tank. On one side i have a clamp lamp over the tank. It has a 75 watt daylight neodymium basking spot bulb. It also has a desert substrate heater in the bottom of the tank on the same side. During the day i will have the lamp on- the substrate heater off. During the night i will have the lamp off- substrate heater on. I also have a thermomoter on the same side. All this is on ONE SIDE of the tank. On the other side i have water big enough for the snake to be in and a hide away. I also have a hygrometer. Can you tell me if this placement is correct? Oh and by the way- i dont know if i will have a problem when the air conditionar is on in my house at night.
ok ive done my reseach and i still need some help.
#1 quality wanted. something i can hold that will be calm and not act like its always got somewhere it has to get to.
#2 NO EIGHTEEN FOOT MONSTERS
#3 not a picky eater. i dont want to have to wait 6 months worry about wether or not my snake is starving to death.
#4 $100 or less and availible. Not something i have to order online.
SOO i love how calm ball pythons are. but i love how easy corns are to care for and how they will almost always eat. And i really like rosy boas but i cant seem to find a place where i can get my hands on one.
PS preferably something that is not extremely temp sensitive
i plan on cutting tree branches for my snake what kind should i use
ive had my ball for over a year and a half. lately ive noticed that right before she sheds her tounge turns a blackish red color. after the shed its red agian. is this normal or is this something to worry about?
20"wide/10.5"deep/18.5"tall... would it hold him for at least a few years?
