Am i going to need vet records- will it be held for a period of time- will it be allowed at all?

Ok- I have noticed that my apprx. 1 year old ball python has been opening her mouth alot and weazing alot to. I know all yall are going to say is take her to a vet- well i cant afford a vet but i love my snake dearly. How can she get the respiratory infection? Is she going to live much longer? (i noticed she has been doing this since may 30) Is there anything that i myself can do to save her at my house? please can yall help me?
