my baby python has shed twice since i d had it and forgot how often they shed...

i have a 6 month old spotted python who is about 40 centimetres long. i don t know what gender it is and i don t know what to call it. i ve been thinking about the name Kiko.. any suggestions?

ok i have a 5 month old diamond python & he was sitting around my neck (my hair was up) & he sort of made a hissing sound. it wasn t a warning because it wasn t long & slow it was more quick & sounded like a sneeze. i think he may have had hair up his nose or something. is this a normal or is there something wrong?? (apart from him having hair up his nose- thats not normal)

Do ball pythons have to have a basking spot/light?
i thought that they only needed and under tank heater for the warm side..
is an under tank heater enough for a ball python?
and if they need a basking spot..what temps should it be..
